Reinforced Vapor Retarder for Crawl Space Encapsulation

StegoCrawl Wrap Reinforced Vapor Retarder is a high-performance sheet membrane with added scrim reinforcement to enhance puncture and tear resistance. Engineered with low water vapor permeance, it is intended as ground and wall cover in crawl spaces to help control moisture movement. The multi-layered, flexible membrane consists of scrim reinforcement bonded between outer layers of polyethylene film, designed to provide high-strength and low water vapor permeance in crawl space applications.

The ground in new or existing crawl spaces can be a source of moisture intrusion, soil gas (like radon), and other contaminants. A high-performance vapor retarder is a critical component to take the ground out of play and help improve indoor air quality, energy efficiency, and overall home performance. With added UV inhibitors and thermal stabilizers, the StegoCrawl Wrap Reinforced Vapor Retarder lineup can also be used for outdoor applications where a high-strength, durable film is needed.

StegoCrawl Wrap Reinforced Vapor Retarder is compatible with StegoCrawl® Tape, StegoCrawl® Term Bar, and StegoTack® Tape, which are specifically engineered for crawl space encapsulation.
